The plate support pad consists of 3D mesh and a closed-cell foam core. The cushions are chamfered at the top for an optimal fit and are 1 cm thick. The comfort is significantly increased by the padding and can be attached to the Vulcan LC plate carrier, Vulcan II plate carrier and Vulcan III plate carrier using Velcro. By using the padding, air circulates better inside and moisture (sweat) can escape more easily. Furthermore, the cushion has a positive effect on trauma values u200bu200bby further reducing the impact energy. The upholstery can be cleaned by hand wash.
