Every first-aider should have the rescue blanket at least 12 µm thick with them.
The emergency blankets are intended as protection against cold, heat, dirt, as a base or as a cover. The face must always remain free during use and the emergency blankets are not intended for open wounds. The silver side must be used as protection against the cold, and the gold side must face the patient's body as heat protection.
