Quick release cummerbund (ballistic)

This ballistic conversion kit for the Vulcan and Vulcan 2 plate carrier as well as the ARES plate carrier is equipped with the Rapid Open Connector, or ROC for short.
The solid Rapid Open Connector can be unlocked and opened with just one hand. The approx. 6 cm long, rubberized cord is pulled away from the body for unlocking and raised to decouple. The advantage of this system is that the plate carrier can be quickly removed and put on without having to trigger a complex disintegration mechanism.

This ballistic variant of the cummerbund has 3 X 7 (rows of X channels) Molle loops on the outside for attaching further tactical equipment.

Hard ballistics like the NIJ IV Stand Alone side plate set 6x8.
The kummmbund is closed via the flap, which is firmly attached to the side facing the body.
The inner pocket can also hold a combination of soft ballistics and Velcro magazine pockets.
The size is adjusted using the Velcro surfaces of the respective plate carrier.
At the rear end of the cummerbund, a wide elastic band is attached for better adjustment and to increase comfort.

The ZentauroN quick release cummerbund (ballistic) also fits on plate carriers from other manufacturers that have Velcro surfaces on the front and back.
Suitable models are for example:
Warrier Assault, DCS, Recon Plate or various carriers from 5.11 Miltec, Condor, Tasmanian Tiger, the plate carrier supplied by the Bundeswehr for specialists and EGB forces from Lindnerhof Tactics and many others.

Equipped with the ROC (Rapid Open Connector) buckles, the cummerbunds can be released with one handle and just as easily closed again. This increases your personal comfort and at the same time you do not have to do without the usual protection.
