Field Repair Kit Quick-Release ROC Buckle 80

The repair set Quick-Release ROC Buckle 80 is designed to renew defective quick-release buckles.
These buckles are sewn into the cummerbunds of the Vulcan III plate carrier, the Vulcan LC Skeletor plate carrier, the Vulcan LC Rubberbund and the THOR Rescue vest. A buckle consists of a female part and a male part.

The defective parts of the buckle should be carefully removed from the loop of the cummerbund and the plate carrier with the help of a side cutter or a pair of pliers. A puller (= zipper pull) is attached in the hole of the female part next to the printed arrow symbol.  The new female part is threaded into the loops of the cummerbund without additional tools. The new male part is then threaded into the loop of the plate carrier or protective vest. This completes the repair of the cummerbund.
