USE & TARGET GROUP:
The Zentauron map case is designed as a tactical map case for professional users who need to maintain an overview at all times during operations. It supports command and reporting structures in the German Armed Forces and BOS and has also been tried and tested in practice by the police, fire department, THW, disaster control, rescue service, mountain rescue, SAR, security, public order service as well as in surveying, construction management, forestry, hunting and nature conservation. Whether for exercises, staff work or real operations - situation maps, report sheets and digital devices remain organized, protected and immediately available.
DESIGN & FUNCTION:
The map report pouch is designed in a slim, operational format (approx. 26 × 35 × 7 cm) that can be worn comfortably over service and weatherproof clothing. The main compartment with dividers can hold folded maps, a writing folder or a tablet up to approx. 10". The large Velcro flap has a flat zippered compartment (approx. 16 × 24 cm) for frequently used documents, legends or report forms. An additional Velcro pocket (approx. 24 × 8 cm) offers space for markers, pens, rulers, compasses and other guide materials without them lying loose in the compartment. There is another zippered compartment (approx. 25 × 24 cm) on the back for flat documents or attachments. At the front there is a Velcro surface (approx. 2.5 × 15 cm) for name tapes, function or unit markings - ideal for quick identification at command posts and command posts.
CARRYING SYSTEM & ERGONOMICS:
An ergonomic carrying system is crucial for long deployments and a lot of movement. The map report pouch is supplied with a 25 mm wide, length-adjustable shoulder strap, which is attached to the top loops of the pouch using robust buckles. This allows the bag to be quickly put on or taken off and adjusted in length. An additional carrying handle makes it easier to move the bag quickly, for example when switching between vehicle, command post and terrain. Thanks to the flat silhouette, freedom of movement is only minimally restricted when walking, standing or working in the vehicle.
MATERIAL & DURABILITY:
The map report pocket is made from hard-wearing CORDURA 560 DEN (polyamide 6.6), which impresses with its abrasion resistance, dimensional stability and ease of care. The NIR/IRR finish is tailored to military and official requirements. The material reliably protects the contents from mechanical stress and the effects of the weather and retains its shape even with frequent use - a durable solution for everyday use and demanding deployment scenarios.
